Things You Didn’t Know About Your Vacuum Cleaner
Things You Didn’t Know About Your Vacuum Cleaner: The vacuum cleaner is the most popular household appliance and is number one in sales in most developed countries. It has become an inseparable part of our lives and we just can’t imagine cleaning without it. But we have some pretty interesting facts about vacuum cleaners, which we believe you didn’t know about. Let’s see if we were correct.
1.Modern vacuum cleaners can suck liquids.
The newer models of vacuum cleaners have the ability to suck water or other liquids. Previously, this was a big no-no. If you tried it with an older one, the machine would end up exploding. Now just imagine the mess that would create. Nope, too much of a disaster!
2. There are vacuum cleaners with dirt sensors.
Some newly developed machines have inbuilt sensors that detect the amount of dirt on the treated surface and tell you when it is clean enough. How much easier can vacuum cleaning really get? That’s already pretty awesome.
3. Robot vacuum cleaners are not as effective as standard vacuum cleaners.
Although we are all looking for convenience and robot vacuum cleaners have delivered that, we must say they don’t do the job as well as the standard vacuum cleaner does. The robots have less sucking power, less capacity and are not yet as intelligent as a human.
4. When the bag is halfway full, the suction power decreases significantly.
Most people think they need to change or empty the vacuum bag when it is almost full. In reality, however, if you want your machine to be fully effective you must not let the bag be more than 50% full.
5. A great vacuum cleaner can extract up to 95% of soil in the carpet.
The best vacuum cleaners on the market are extremely powerful and can clean allergens, dust and dirt from the carpet up to 95%. Unfortunately, no vacuum cleaning machine can be fully effective in carpet cleaning. Soft floor covering requires professional treatment at least twice a year to eliminate all allergens and trapped germs.
6. You can deodorise a room using your vacuum cleaner.
Bad smells in the room or coming from your vacuum cleaner? You can easily eliminate those by emptying the vacuum bag and putting a few drops of citrus essential oil on the filter. When you put the machine on, the scent from the oil will spread and act as a natural room freshener.
7. You can’t clean all surfaces with the same extension.
When you buy a vacuum cleaner make sure you read the manual. There is a reason why the machine comes with a variety of extensions. You can’t clean different surfaces effectively with the same extension. Also, most of the work is usually done by the brushes, but they can come in various sizes and shapes to be applied to different areas and materials.
How many of these facts did you know and how many came to you as a total surprise?
